Hand cream and hand cleaner for hands that work.
PREP is a cream for before work, STRIP a hand cleaner for oil and grease and RECOVER a cream for when the day is done. For people who wrench, build and fix things.
Nothing is for sale yet. Join for free and get the hand care guide straight away, and first word when the products are ready.
Why hands
For people who make a living with their hands.
Oil, grease, paint, soil, cold and water. Then soap, several times a day. Working hands take a lot, and when the skin gets dry and cracked you feel it in every grip.
We don't make skincare for the bathroom shelf. We make maintenance for hands that work, as natural as wiping down your tools at the end of the day.
Trades and construction
Carpenters, painters, electricians, bricklayers and tilers.
Workshops and vehicles
Mechanics, sprayers and everyone who works with oil and grease.
Garage and hobby
For you who tinker, restore and fix things in your spare time.
Industry and production
Hands that work shift after shift.
Garden, forest and farm
Soil, cold and water, in all weather.
The system · 01 / 02 / 03
Three steps. Not ten products.
The routine follows the working day: one step before, one when the dirt has to come off and one when the day is done. You shouldn't have to become a skincare enthusiast to look after your hands.
-
01Step 1: PREP
Before work
Applied to clean, dry hands before you start. PREP leaves a thin film in the creases of the skin and around the nails, so oil, grease and paint come off more easily when you wash.
-
02Step 2: STRIP
When the dirt has to come off
Hand cleaner for oil, grease and soot. STRIP is rubbed into dry hands, with scrub particles that help in the creases. Made for skin, not for engines.
-
03Step 3: RECOVER
When the day is done
RECOVER moisturises and softens dry, worn hands after work and before the night.
PREP does not replace gloves. The products are in development and not yet for sale.
The founder
Why I am building NYTTU
We don't make skincare for the bathroom shelf. We make maintenance for hands that work.
My name is Karl Hemborg. I grew up in Jämtland in northern Sweden, and I am building NYTTU from Varberg on the Swedish west coast.
There is something for almost everything in a workshop. The right tools, the right machines, the right equipment. But hands, the most important tool of them all, usually make do with whatever happens to sit by the sink. I thought that was worth doing something about.
The shelves are full of hand creams that talk about luxury and wellbeing. I want to build something that works like a tool: clear, simple and made to be used every day by someone who has other things on their mind. That is why it is three steps and not ten products.
I would rather show how NYTTU is made than pretend everything is already finished. Here you can see the sketches, the decisions and what we are still testing. We promise no effect before we can stand behind it. Join the waitlist and you can follow the whole way, and what you tell us shapes what we build.

How NYTTU is made
Follow the work from sketch to product.
We are building NYTTU in the open. This is what has happened so far, and this is what comes next.
-
The name NYTTU is chosen, and three steps become the foundation: PREP, STRIP and RECOVER.
-
NYTTU AB is founded in Varberg, Sweden.
-
The design system is finished: the Barlow typeface, the signal colour Work Orange and 154 graphic elements of our own.
-
Formulas and packaging are evaluated together with manufacturers in Europe.
-
The waitlist opens and the first knowledge articles are published. Read the knowledge articles
-
Samples are tested on real hands in real work before anything goes into production.
-
Launch in Sweden. After that, more countries.
The label should make sense without a salesperson.

- The logo

- The step number, the first thing you see
- The product name

Sweden first
Sweden first. The world next.
NYTTU sells in Sweden only for now. Our plan is to expand internationally once the products have held up in real work. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when NYTTU reaches your country.

Questions before launch
When do you launch?
We are still evaluating products and packaging. A confirmed date will be published here. Joining the waitlist is not a delivery promise.
What does it cost and what is included?
The final price has not been published yet. The idea is three steps, and exact quantity, formula and packaging will be confirmed before ordering opens.
Can I buy STRIP on its own?
The range is not final. Single products and subscriptions cannot be ordered yet.
Do you ship outside Sweden?
Not yet. We start in Sweden and plan to expand to more countries. Join the waitlist and we will tell you when NYTTU reaches your country.
What happens when I sign up?
We store your email address and your answer about who you are, so we can tell you about the launch and what we learn along the way. You can unsubscribe through the link in every email or by writing to hej@nyttu.se.
Can I join a test programme?
No test programme is open yet. If you are on the waitlist, you will hear if we open one.
Do you sell to businesses?
We are looking into solutions for workplaces. Quotes and delivery times are not confirmed yet.
Are the sketches the final packaging?
No. The sketches show how we are thinking right now. The final product, packaging, ingredient list and directions will be published once they are verified.
Do I still need gloves if I use PREP?
Yes. PREP does not replace gloves, so wear gloves when you can. PREP is meant for the jobs when the gloves come off, so that oil and grease should come off more easily when you wash.
Why not just use dish soap?
Dish soap strips grease, including your skin's own, and many people who wrench describe dry, cracked hands from it. STRIP is made for skin, not for dishes, and RECOVER is meant to moisturise afterwards.
Is used engine oil bad for your skin?
An oil change now and then is nothing to worry about. According to the British Health and Safety Executive (HSE), it is frequent, prolonged contact with used oil that can cause skin problems. Wear gloves when you handle oil and wash it off as soon as you can. Read more in our article.
Why three products?
Before, cleaning and after. The same routine some people already follow with ordinary cream and dish soap, but with a product made for each step.
